Requirements for the foundation

What needs to be prepared before installing the GARDEON garden shed?

We deliver the assembled garden sheds without a floor. The customer prepares the ground before our team arrives - either on their own or with the support of a specialised company.

We assemble your Gardeon® House on the previously prepared foundation and then anchor it to ensure its stability even in strong winds. A high-quality prepared foundation is therefore an essential component for the assembly of the garden house.

You have various options for creating the substrate, both in terms of shape and material.

Types of foundations (foundation slabs):

  • Concrete slab - poured concrete or concrete blocks
  • Perimeter strip / foundation strip
  • Concrete foundations at paving height
  • Concrete foundations under the paving
  • Concrete ring / concrete cube

Requirements for the right foundation:

  • The ground must be 100 % level and even.
  • The substrate must be at least 10 cm larger on each side than the floor plan of the garden shed. The thickness of the concrete slab must be at least 15 cm.
  • Concrete points: The dimensions of the concrete points must be at least 40 × 40 × 60 cm.
